BACK STORY OF HERMOSO BODY OIL
Hermoso Body Oil was specially formulated for men of the age of 21 and above. It was designed as per the requirements of the dermal layer of the skin of an ageing man and the kind of moisturisation they need.
An eleven-year-old inspired the creation of the Blooming Body Oil. Sahria Malik, Daughter of Supriya Arora Malik, was born with a unique gene that causes her to be allergic to glucose and develops a rash every time she consumes anything sweet that is first red but subsequently turns black, causing pigmentation all over her body. After visiting various dermatologists, the founder decided to treat her with an ointment that had 5% hydroquinone acid.
The mother of the founder and the brains behind the brand, Seema Arora was never in favour of using such harsh chemicals, especially on such a young child. Hydroquinone has numerous adverse effects, including skin irritation, especially if sun protection is not used after application, as well as a seldom seen blue discolouration known as “ochronosis.” At greater concentrations, there is a possibility of losing too much pigment, resulting in white patches.
She then decided to create a concoction for her granddaughter that would help with her pigmentation as well as treat any rashes that developed. After researching for a couple of months, she created the Blooming Body Oil. She named it Blooming Body Oil because she believed that when her granddaughter would use this concoction she would bloom in her early teenage years.
It took the brand 4 years to launch this product because of its high pricing. The team contemplated if the product would reach the masses and would help treating them. However, we believed that it is absolutely essential for everyone to witness the wonders of nature, therefore we launched this product along with its versions, Hermosa Body Oil and Blooming Body Oil. Since the dermal layer of the skin varies from age to age and from gender to gender, It was important for us to come with the variants and make the concoction stronger as per the age and gender.
All skin types. For 21+ year old Men
